How your tins are made
We fill, label and seal every tin in Riga.
Into a foil bag
We weigh 30 g of matcha into a foil bag and seal it.
Into the tin
The sealed bag goes into the tin, and the lid goes on.
Your labels
We print your body label and lid label and apply them.
VOID seal
A tamper-evident VOID seal goes over the edge of the lid. The best-before date and lot number go on a sticker on the bottom.
Packed and shipped
We pack your tins in cartons and ship them from Riga.

Get the label guide
Straight after payment we email you the label guide with the file rules, the two label templates and the label text for your matcha. For the organic grades, we add the EU organic logo, ready to place on your label.

Send your label files
One body label and one lid label for each grade and tin colour, uploaded with the link in the email or sent by reply.

Approve the proof
We check your files and email you a proof within 2 business days. Production starts when you approve it.

We print, fill and seal
We print your labels, fill 30 g of matcha into a sealed foil bag in every tin and apply your labels.

Your label, your design
You design the label, or your designer does. Use our templates so the files fit the tin. We email you the full label guide when you order.
- Body label
- 150 mm wide and 38 mm high. Add 0.5 mm bleed on every side, so the file is 151 x 39 mm.
- Lid label
- Round, 69 mm across. Add 0.5 mm bleed on every side, so the file is 70 x 70 mm.
- File
- One print-ready PDF per label, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi or more.
- Colours
- CMYK if your design tool has it. RGB works too: we convert it to CMYK, and you check the colours on your proof.
- Safe area
- Keep text and logos at least 2 mm inside the cut edge.
- Label text
- Your label needs the information EU food law asks for. After you order, we email the exact label text for your matcha, with the EU organic logo for the organic grades.
Designing in Canva?
Make a custom-size design in millimetres: 151 x 39 mm for the body label and 70 x 70 mm for the lid label. Upload our SVG template as a guide, keep text and logos inside its blue dashed line, and delete the template before you download. Download as PDF Print with "Crop marks and bleed" left unticked. Quality and documents
Every order ships with a Certificate of Quality and a delivery note with the lot number and best-before date. We send the product specification sheet with your label text, and a copy of our EU organic certificate for the organic grades on request.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order?
€1,000 excl. VAT per order, before shipping, with at least 100 tins of each grade and tin colour. The price per tin is 10 % lower from 250 tins and 15 % lower from 500 tins. For 1,000 tins or more in one order, ask us for a quote.
How long does it take?
We check your files and email you a proof within 2 business days. Your tins are dispatched within 10 business days after you approve the proof.
Do you design the label?
No. You or your designer make the label on our templates and send us print-ready files. We check them, print your labels and apply them to the tins.
Can I design my label in Canva?
Yes. Make a custom-size design in millimetres, 151 x 39 mm for the body label and 70 x 70 mm for the lid label, and download it as PDF Print. Our 2-minute video shows each step.
Do my files need to be in CMYK?
CMYK is best if your design tool has it. RGB works too: we convert your file to CMYK before printing and make the proof from the converted file, so you see the colours before we print. Neon and very bright screen colours print duller.
What does the label need to say?
The information EU food law asks for, in the language of the country where you sell. After you order, we email the exact label text for your matcha: the name, ingredients, net weight and storage. For the organic grades, we also send the EU organic logo with the code LV-BIO-02 and "Non-EU Agriculture", as a file ready to place on your label. Your company name and address go on the label too.
Where do the best-before date and lot number go?
On a small sticker on the bottom of the tin, so your label needs no space for them.
Can I mix grades and tin colours?
Yes. Each grade and tin colour is its own line of 100 tins or more, and together they need to reach €1,000 excl. VAT.
Can I taste the matcha first?
Yes. Our matcha samples pack in the shop has every pure matcha grade in one box, these four included.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, with a full refund, until you approve the proof. After your approval the order is final.
What if my label is not ready yet?
Send your files within 60 days of your order. We remind you after 14 and 45 days. If no files arrive by day 60, we cancel the order and refund it in full.
Are the labels included in the price?
Yes. Printing your labels and applying them is included. Prices are excl. VAT, and shipping is added at checkout.
