Raspberry Powder - Freeze Dried is raspberries, freeze-dried and milled: freeze dried raspberry 100%, nothing else. The powder carries the sharp, bright taste and the pink-to-red colour of fresh raspberries into smoothies, yoghurt, oatmeal, desserts and bakes, and it doses by weight into dry mixes where fresh or frozen fruit would bring water. One ingredient covers flavour and colour at once, the same in January as in July. High in fibre. Manufactured in Latvia and supplied in a 100 g retail doypack, a 1 kg doypack and 5 kg and 15 kg bulk bags.

Which fruits are available?
Fourteen: aronia, banana, baobab, blackcurrant, blueberry, date, dragon fruit, lemon, mango, orange, papaya, pineapple, raspberry and sea buckthorn. Most are a single fruit at 100%; baobab is fruit pulp and date is ground dried dates.
How do I use a fruit powder?
It doses by weight rather than by volume and adds no water, so it goes into drink powders, bakery, confectionery, dairy and dry mixes where fresh or frozen fruit would not work. Most rehydrate readily. Start with 1 to 2 teaspoons in a home-scale recipe.
Does it contain allergens, and is it organic?
No allergens are declared on any of the fourteen, and all are vegan and GMO-free. Two are certified organic under LV-BIO-02, baobab and date. The other twelve are conventional and are not sold as organic.
How long does it keep and how is it stored?
24 months, and 36 months for baobab and date. Store in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and heat, in a closed package.
